Everything's coming up Procrastinator

Today was good to me. My first article ran in the paper. I wasn't expecting it to feel as good as it did to see my name followed by my words in a newspaper. After all, it's a small-town newspaper that I believe every member of my family, including myself, has made fun of at some point or other. But it still felt good, like progress.

The goodness of the day also included the arrival of my new cell phone. So I now possess something that could potentially make everyone in a movie theater think that I'm an inconsiderate asshole. But damn is it cool.

Today also ended with some Halo. I don't know if you guys have figured this out yet or not, but I like Halo. It's fun. You get to blow stuff up and stuff.

I'm grateful for good news about a doctor (20).

So what did you expect from him at 3:00 in the morning after blowing things up all night with other emotionally-stunted adult males? Way to go Procrastinator!!!! Local newspaper vastly improved by infusion of new blood. . .and all that kind of praise-stuff. The good news about a doctor is about our own Piwok and we're all so proud we could just pop buttons. Way to go, Kritters!!!! Love to both from Dragonmama

Okay, correction. . .The "what did you expect from him" is in regard to how uncharacteristically short his blog was on this momentous occasion (not even mentioning the incredible and strange Tigers' practically all-night game) and not letting anyone who can't figure it out know what the grateful for doctor was. (He just galumped down the stairs and asked "What did you mean 'what did you expect'", so figured I should repair the breach.) This is why parents should stay totally off blogs. Mea maxima culpa.
